Gluconic Acids

The relative hydrophilicity of gluconic acids with similar molecular structures can be decreased due to their suppressed dissociation in the acidic eluent. Thus, they are retained in RSpak DE-613 column by reversed phase mode and separated.

Sample :
1. HCl
2. 2-Ketogluconic acid
3. Gluconic acid
4. 5-Ketogluconic acid
5. Tartaric acid
6. Glycolic acid

Column : Shodex RSpak DE-613 (6.0mmID*150mm)
Eluent : 2mM HClO4 aq.
