Poly(Vinylpyrrolidone) (3) (NaNO₃/CH₃CN Eluent)

Poly(vinylpyrrolidone) was analyzed using OHpak SB-805 HQ. When a sample has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts, hydrophobic interaction sometimes exists between the sample and the packing material. To cancel out such hydrophobic interaction and realize SEC, an addition of organic solvent to the eluent is necessary.
