Selection of Chiral Separation Columns

In the fields of medicine, agricultural chemicals and food, it is important to analyze optical isomers to confirm physiological activity or to measure optical purity of optical isomers.
Shodex offers the following three types of separation columns of chiral separation.

1. ORpak CD series
The ORpak CD columns are packed with polymer-based gel bonded with cyclodextrin derivatives as ligands.

2. ORpak CRX-853
The ORpak CRX-894 column is packed with polymer-based gel bonded with L-amino acid derivatives as ligands.

3. AFpak ABA-894
The AFpak ABA-894, an affinity column is packed with polymer-based gel bonded with bovine serum albumin(BSA) as the ligand.
