Effect of Temperature (1)
Effect of temperature when analyzing saccharides using SUGAR
SC1011 (a column for saccharides analysis) is shown here. Saccharides having carbonyl or aldehyde group may have anomers. It is possible
to prevent anomer separation by analyzing at elavated temperature. It is also
possible to have higher theoretical plate number and resolution by it. Analyzing
at elevated temperature around 80 deg-C is recommended when using columns such
as SP0810, SC1011, SC1821, KS-801 and KS-802.
