5SIL 4D column is suitable for the separation of tocopherols.
The chromatogram on the left shows the separation of alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-tocopherol by normal phase mode using the column with a mixture of
n-hexane/isopropanol as an eluent. Asahipak
ODP-50 6D is also suitable for the separation of tocopherols
though alpha- and beta-tocopherol cannot be separated with the column. The chromatogram on the right shows the separation of alpha-, beta-, and
gamma-tocopherol by reversed phase mode using the column with a methanol eluent.
