Tetraalkylammoniums (YK-421)
Trialkylammonium were separated using cation chromatography column, IC
YK-421. By using the mobile phase used below (high ACN concentration), hydrophobic interaction is suppressed. Thus ioninc-interaction dominates, this makes shorter chain alkylammonium to be retained longer than longer ones.
