Analysis of Oxyhalides (SI-52 4E)
Please use this column with suppressor type ion chromatography system.
Recently ozonation has been applied for disinfection of drinking water. Ozonation transforms a part of
bromide (Br
-) to bromate (BrO
3-), which is a potential carcinogen.
Therefore, it is important to measure bromate in drinking water.
IC
SI-52 4E can analyze common inorganic anions and oxyhalides simultaneously with high resolution.
Dichloroacetate (DCA
-) as a surrogate substance is also well separated.
Water dip and carbonate system peak do not overlap with other peaks.
