Cinchona Alkaloids
For the analysis of cinchona alkaloids, cinchonine and quinine, which are 
  basic drug components having tertiary amino groups, good separation can be obtained 
  with alkaline eluent at pH9.0 using an Asahipak 
ODP-50 6D column. The separation at pH7.4 when using ODP or ODS columns is not 
  as good as that obtained at pH9.0 when using an ODP column.
