Hydantoins

Five kinds of hidantoins were analyzed using RSpak DE-613 with aqueous eluent. The elution order of the hidantoins is the order of hydrophilicity of R-group.

1. 5-Carboxyethyl Hydantoin
2. 5-Hydroxymethyl Hydantoin
3. Hydantoin
4. 5-Methyl Hydantoin
5. 5-Ethyl Hydantoin

Eluent       : 1/30M Na2HPO4 + 1/30M KH2PO4 aq.
Flow rate    : 2.0mL/min
Detector     : UV(210nm)
