Effect of Column Size

Two CLNpak PAE columns which have different column size are compared. PAE-2000 (20mmID x 300mm) column has 6.25 times larger cross section area than PAE-800 (8mmID x 300mm) column and large amount of sample can be loaded to PAE-800 column.



Sample :
1. 0.090mg/500micro-L Corn oil
2. 0.036mg/500micro-L Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate
3. 0.540mg/3000micro-L Corn oil
4. 0.216mg/3000micro-L Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate

Columns : Shodex CLNpak PAE-800 AC (8.0mmID*300mm) Eluent : Acetone Flow rate : 0.5mL/min Column temp. : Room temp.
